Anyone who knows me, knows that I use approximately eighty percent of my brain space as storage for the various cities, countries and adorable nooks and crannies across the globe that I want to visit. With a thirtieth birthday around the corner (ACK! I. Know.) I thought I'd jot down some of the top picks on my list. So as not to forget them in my old age. ICELAND Image compliments of @ramirotorrents Two words. Hot. Springs. I mean, who doesn't want to dip their toes in one of those beauties. Is it weird that I secretly feel like these springs posses some kind of magical unicorn power? I guess there's only one way to find out. PRAGUE Image compliments of @alexandratakesphotos The thing that's most appealing to me about Prague is the architecture. As one of the few European cities that didn't get virtually demolished in World War II a lot of it's amazing architecture is still in tact. I can't wait to stroll through the plethora of windy roads. Not to mention, have you checked out the amazing AirBnB options in Prague lately? I mean. GERMANY Image compliments of @yullie91 Perhaps it's my South African roots, but I have long been obsessed with Germany. I think what appeals most to me is its diversity. You've got fashion, beer, food, nature, and architecture. It's like a one stop shop for all things delightful. MAINE Image compliments of @spitzerphoto Dan is a H.U.G.E. Stephen King fan, which may be where my obsession with Maine first came about. Over time I've become more and more obsessed with it's beauty in both summer and winter. It seems like one of those places that is picaresque no matter where or when you go. Also, LOBSTERS! THE GRAND CANYON Image compliments of @grandcanyonnps It's an American classic and I can't possibly imagine calling myself a true-blue American if I've never seen the Grand Canyon. That would be like never going to Disney. AMIRIGHT!? Besides, my obsession with all things cactus will surely appreciate a trip to Arizona and all of it's glorious beauty.
What are some of spots on your Travel Bucket List? Any suggestions of must-see spots for the ones that are on mine? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
